Löytötex Oy becomes Logicenters first tenant in Hervanta

Logicenters upcoming property in Southeast Tampere has secured its first tenant. The new warehouse will be completed in early 2025, with Löytötex Oy moving in later in the spring.

It is now clear that the family business Löytötex will be Logicenters very first tenant in the upcoming property in Hervanta. The company has nine retail stores around Pirkanmaa and sells textiles, cosmetics, detergents, animal food, dry food, household goods and other home products for the whole family both in-store and online.

”We are very pleased to sign the first agreement in Hervanta, especially since it is with a local service provider who has a strong presence in the area. The modern property will be developed according to Logicenters environmental profile, and we know it will contribute positively to Löytötex’s future logistics operations”, says Jarkko Äikää, Commercial Director at Logicenters.

The property is located near E12 and E63 with direct connections to Southern and Northern Finland. From the warehouse on Kytömaankatu to the city center of Tampere, it is only a 17-minute drive. The new property will have solar panels installed on the roof and heating via geothermal energy – with the ambition to obtain the environmental certification BREEAM excellent.

In addition to Löytötex moving into the new property in the spring of 2025, Logicenters plans for more tenants to move into the logistics area. Currently, there is an additional 25,000 m² that potential companies can rent.

Logicenters is developing a property of 21,800 m2 to Dachser Finland

It is now confirmed that Logicenters will develop a terminal for the logistics company Dachser Finland. The new property will be built near Tampere-Pirkkala Airport – enabling a more efficient logistics flow for the company.

Logistics property developer Logicenters is expanding further in Finland by developing 21,800 m² next to Tampere–Pirkkala Airport. Logicenters will establish a logistics terminal of 5,100 m² for Dachser Finland on the site. The property will function as Dachser’s second logistics center in Finland and as international traffic hub while providing the capability for the company to offer an even more comprehensive service model to a wider customer base in the Pirkanmaa region and rest of Finland.

Dachser Finland provides modern, efficient, and IT-driven logistics services. Already in 2019, Dachser and Logicenters signed their first agreement regarding a property in Kerava, and the new agreement is part of Logicenters strategy to follow customers on their journey. The location near Tampere-Pirkkala Airport is optimal for Dachser’s logistics flow and will be a crucial part of making their operations more effective.

The property will be developed with Breeam certificate, geothermal heat, and solar panels, all in line with Logicenters sustainability profile. The terminal is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025. Going forward there will also be optional to expand the logistics area with another warehouse up to 20,000 m².

Logicenters develops 29 000 m² warehouse in Tampere

Logicenters has acquired a new site of 58 000 m² in Tampere, Finland. A state-of-the-art vacant property of 29 000 m² is expected to be ready in the fourth quarter of 2024.

The logistics real estate operator Logicenters is expanding its presence in Finland by acquiring a brownfield site of 58 000 m² in Hervanta, close to Tampere. It is now clear that the old property will be demolished, and in its place Logicenters will build a vacant sustainable warehouse with the possibility for several tenants to rent at the same time.

“This will be Logicenters first bigger brownfield-project in the Nordics. As the availability of greenfield sites in good logistics locations becomes increasingly limited, even in the Nordic region, I am convinced that we will make more acquisitions like this in the metropolitan areas in the future”, says Matthias Kettelhoit, CEO at Logicenters.

The facility in Hervanta will be located close to E12 and E63 with direct connection to Northern Finland. From the warehouse in Kytömaankatu to the city center of Tampere takes only 17 minutes by car.
