Logicenters has developed its property in Pirkkala, Finland, which will be completed by the end of February. It has now been announced that international packaging company DS Smith will move into the facility as the tenant.
Logicenters’ extended facility in Pirkkala, Finland, just outside Tampere, has a new tenant. British product packaging company DS Smith will move into the property in March 2023. The building has been built in accordance with Logicenters’ sustainability profile and is environmentally certified according to Breeam Very Good. The facility is fitted with solar cells and is heated using geothermal energy.

DS Smith is a leading global provider of environmentally sustainable packaging solutions, paper products and recycling services. The new premises in Pirkkala will enable it to streamline its operations and strengthen its position outside Tampere.

The logistics centre is located in the Tampere region, one of Finland’s most strategic locations for logistics management, with fantastic opportunities for HGVs to access the E12 motorway. Pirkkala airport is also just ten minutes away.
