DSV Solutions Oy has moved into new facilities in Vantaa

Logicenters newly developed facility in Vantaa has welcomed its tenant. Logistics company DSV Solutions Oy has now moved into the property with a total area of 11 000 m².

In the beginning of 2023, Logicenters acquired land in Vantaa, just north of the city center of Helsinki. At the same time it was announced that one of the world’s leading logistics companies, DSV Solutions Oy, had signed a long-term lease for an 11 000 m² property on the site. The facility is now fully completed and DSV Solutions Oy has moved into their new warehouse.

“We are very happy to finally welcome DSV to their new property. The whole project has worked perfectly smooth together with the construction company Jatke and with DSV. We are now looking forward to starting the cooperation with the tenant, that will move into a modern property with proximity to Helsinki and great connections to other parts of Finland“, says Jarkko Äikää, Commercial Director at Logicenters.

The new property achieved the environmental certification BREEAM Very Good and is equipped with solar cells on the roof. The logistics center is located near Ring III, where you can easily reach Helsinki and other major cities in the southern parts of Finland. The property is also only ten minutes by car from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.

Logicenters is developing an 8,000 m2 property for Puumerkki in Finland

It has now been announced that Logicenters has acquired an 19,000 m² plot near Helsinki Airport. In connection with the deal, Logicenters has also signed an agreement with Puumerkki Oy, which will lease the new property starting from the summer of 2025.

Logistics property operator Logicenters continues its expansion journey with a land acquisition in Vantaa, Finland. The land is sold by the construction company Jatke Toimitilat Oy, which will develop a new logistics property on the site. In connection with the purchase, Logicenters has also signed a long-term lease agreement with the wood construction expert Puumerkki Oy.

”We are very pleased to start the new year with this acquisition. It is a sought-after plot with a very good logistics location. Signing a lease agreement with Puumerkki, which will have a property specially tailored to their needs, feels really exciting. Puumerkki is a regional expert in wood construction products and services. The company operates within five product categories such as decorative products, façade construction, framework construction, furnishing solutions, and sauna products. The new facility of 8,000 m² will be developed according to Puumerkki’s wishes and needs, and the property is expected to be completed in the summer of 2025.

Logicenters continues to expand their presence in the Helsinki region. It is now clear that the logistics real estate operator is acquiring land in Vantaa where a new facility will be developed for DSV Solutions Oy.

Logicenters is acquiring land in Vantaa, Finland, just north of the city centre of Helsinki, where it will develop a facility for DSV Solutions Oy. The Danish logistics company has signed a long-term lease where planned occupancy takes place in the second quarter of 2024.

The new property will be built based on Logicenter’s sustainable profile with the environmental certification Breeam Very Good and will be equipped with, among other things, solar cells on the roof. The facility will have a total area of 11,000 m2.

“This will be a perfect start to the new year. We are very happy to have found a perfect solution for DSV and look forward to a long-term collaboration together. With the development of the new modern logistics facility, Logicenters is expanding its presence in the Helsinki region, which is the country’s primary starting point,” says Jarkko Äikää, Commercial Manager at Logicenters.

DSV is the world’s third largest logistics company, which is now expanding its presence in the Vantaa area. The new property is located approximately 500 m from the company’s already existing logistics center, which was put into operation in 2019.

Matkahuolto becomes new Logicenters tenant in Vantaa

Logicenters’ facility in Vantaa, Finland, has a new tenant. The logistics property company has signed a long-term lease with Matkahuolto, one of Finland’s largest parcel services companies. The lease relates to 7,350 m² of space and Matkahuolto is scheduled to move in September 2021.

Logicenters has now signed a lease with Matkahuolto, one of Finland’s largest parcel services companies. The lease is for a total of 7,350 m² at Logicenters’ property at Manttaalitie 5–7 in Vantaa, Finland. Of this area, around 6,900 m² will be used for warehouse space and the remaining 450 m² for offices. The company is scheduled to move in September 2021.

In the spring of 2019, Logicenters completed the refurbishment of its facility in Vantaa. The property underwent a complete renovation to enable it to meet the needs of future logistics operations and to reduce the facility’s carbon footprint. With Matkahuolto now moving in, further alterations are being made to the property to meet the tenant’s requirements for smooth logistics solutions.

“Matkahuolto expects continued strong growth in the coming years and we are delighted to be able to offer it a facility in which it will be able to grow. We will also be making a number of modifications to the facility. Logicenters modernises facilities and reduces environmental footprint

Logicenters has now completed the further development of two existing facilities in Vantaa, Finland. The properties, with a total area of 22,000 m², have been renovated both internally and externally in order to reduce CO2 emissions and meet the logistics needs of tomorrow. This modernisation has included new loading docks, an updated ventilation system aswell as the imminent installation of solar panels on the roof.

In May 2018, Logicenters began the further development of two properties on the samesite in Vantaa, Finland. The logistics facilities were modernised in order to meet the functional and sustainable logistics needs of tomorrow. The renovation of the properties, totalling 22,000 m², has now been completed.

The properties have been equipped with new loading docks with modern specifications and the lighting has been replaced with energy-efficient LEDs. The surface layer of the walls has been renovated and the ventilation system updated. Solar panels will also be installed on the roof this summer.

“The facilities now comply with the market standards regarding sustainability, which makes us very proud. Energy efficiency has been a key word during this development, during which significant resources have been invested in reducing the properties’ environmental footprint. Logicenters has a clear strategy on sustainability and I am pleased that our property portfolio has become even more modern in connection with this project,” says Jarkko Äikää, Commercial Director, Logicenters in Finland.

The facilities are located at Manttaalitie 5–7, a strategically important location, in close proximity to the international airport, Helsinki and the E18 highway. The two properties house eight tenants, including Bufab Finland Oy, AB ME Group Oy Ltd and Logitri Oy.
