The groundbreaking ceremony has taken place for the facility Logicenters is developing for Axfood’s purchasing and logistics company Dagab. The 37,500 m2 facility is located at Örja 1:23 in Landskrona and is scheduled for occupancy by the end of 2022.
In the spring of 2021, it was announced that Logicenters will develop another facility for Dagab. This facility is located west of the Landskrona South interchange in the city of Landskrona and will be the second facility in the cooperation between the parties. The property will serve as Dagab’s new national fruit and vegetable warehouse. In line with Logicenters’ ambitious sustainability goals, this facility will also be environmentally certified in accordance with BREEAM Very Good and there will also be the option to install solar panels on the roof.
“The fact that we are able to maintain this high standard of sustainability in our property developments is something of which we are very proud. In addition to our sustainability requirements, we take great care to ensure that our facilities are suitable for our partners’ logistics operations, so it is particularly motivating to receive a boost in confidence. We look forward to continuing to work with Dagab and the city of Landskrona,” says Matthias Kettelhoit, CEO at Logicenters.
The new facility is strategically located in southern Sweden, close to Helsingborg, Malmö and major motorways such as the E6, E20 and R17, used by around 40,000 cars daily. In addition to the Dagab facility, Logicenters has acquired a 58,500 m2 site to further strengthen its presence in the Öresund region.
