Logicenters, Nrep’s logistics platform and Oslo Airport City (OAC) have entered into an agreement to establish a joint venture (JV) and partnership to develop OAC’s Logistics Park in Gardermoen Næringspark, North of Oslo. The area was detail zoned this summer, and the collaboration includes land of approximately 480,000 m2 and a buildable area of approximately 353,000 m2.
The aim is to develop modern and attractive logistics and warehouse buildings over the next few years. OAC and Nrep Logicenters are already in dialogue with several potential tenants for upcoming development projects.
“Gardermoen has long been a very interesting area both for us and potential tenants, and we are very pleased to finally announce a partnership with OAC. We look forward to a collaboration where we complement each other well, and to be able to offer tenants an exciting range of logistics and warehouse properties in Gardermoen with a high sustainability profile”, says Jørgen Bråten Nordby, Country Head of Logicenters Norway.
Gardermoen has established itself as Norway’s most attractive logistics and distribution hub, with immediate proximity to the airport and main roads. The land bank is centrally located in Gardermoen Business Park and is one of Norway’s largest development areas – a highly strategic choice for Logicenters’ expansion. Logicenters has a considerable land bank south of Oslo and will with this strategic partnership have strong presence in the North-axis as well.
“The Logistic Park is one of the few remaining large development areas for logistics, storage and wholesale in Greater Oslo. Logicenters is one of Northern Europe’s absolute best and largest developers of such properties, which have gradually become a very large and important segment within commercial property”, says Henrik Danielsen, CEO at Oslo Airport City.
Today, there are close to 280,000 m2 of logistics, storage and wholesale in Gardermoen Business Park – and a further 100,000 m2 are under development. Well-known tenants include COOP, Porsche, Mowi, Felleskjøpet, One Med, GF Logistikk, Møller, Grieg Seafood, Volvo and Sport 1.
