Nrep’s Logicenters and evolutiq GmbH are pleased to announce the successful full leasing of state-of-the-art production, logistics, and office spaces in Hanau to timber wholesaler BECHER GmbH & Co. KG known for its focus on interior construction and related accessories.
The joint venture between Logicenters, Nrep’s logistics development and management platform, and a German family office will develop the multifunctional property by Q2/2026, setting high standards for efficiency and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The Cologne-based investment and asset management company evolutiq GmbH is overseeing the project’s execution, bringing its expertise as a project developer to the table.
“We are thrilled to relocate our timber wholesale business to a forward-thinking location that offers an inspiring, high-quality exhibition for our customers. This new site provides both commercial and private customers the opportunity to experience our diverse product range firsthand. With expanded storage capacity and a high-performance logistics network, we can serve our trade customers across the region even more efficiently while delivering an exceptional shopping experience”, says Michael Köngeter, Managing Director of BECHER GmbH & Co. KG.
The property, located at Donaustraße 15 in the established Hanau-Nord industrial area, offers excellent transport connections. With nearby access to highways A66 and A45, the Frankfurt metropolitan region and the entire Rhine-Main area are easily accessible, making this an ideal logistical location.
“On behalf of the city of Hanau, I am delighted to personally welcome the long-established company Becher to our community. This new location once again highlights Hanau’s strength as an innovative, growing, and resilient business hub, where we create the ideal conditions for long-term success. Accessibility, customer proximity, and a modern, customized facility are also essential factors for Becher’s success in Hanau. The seamless collaboration between the developer evolutiq from Cologne, our building authorities, the Office for Environmental, Nature, and Climate Protection, and our business development agency HWG has laid a strong foundation. Together, we eagerly anticipate the grand opening next year”, says Hanau’s Mayor Claus Kaminsky.
