Swedish outdoor brand Haglöfs is moving to Eskilstuna Logistics Park. This has been announced after the company signed a multi-year lease agreement with Logicenters for a total of 18,000 m2.
Wiktor Haglöf started making rucksacks in a small cottage in Dalarna as long ago as 1914. Today, more than 100 years later, the company has grown into something completely different. Thanks to modern product development and strategic distribution, the brand has developed into one of the world’s leading suppliers of outdoor products.
A multi-year lease agreement has now been signed with Logicenters at Eskilstuna Logistics Park, enabling Haglöfs to moving into the logistics property company’s modern facility of more than 50,000 m2. The property is equipped to function as a central warehouse for both start-ups and existing retail companies and is adapted for a combination of retail and e-commerce flows.
“We are delighted to welcome one of Sweden’s strongest brands into our property in Eskilstuna. Haglöfs is a growing company and we look forward to supporting its continued development at close quarters. I would personally like to express my thanks for the cooperation and I am convinced that the company will thrive in its new logistics centre,” says Fredrik Nygren, Commercial Manager at Logicenters.
Eskilstuna Logistics Park has an area of 420 hectares and is located just outside Eskilstuna with direct proximity to the motorway, railway and airport. The geographical location of the logistics park provides excellent transport links to Örebro as well as the Mälaren region and Stockholm, all of which contributes to optimal conditions for fast-growing retail companies and e-retailers.
There is also potential for Logicenters to expand further in the region, enabling both current and new tenants to expand in the future.
“My focus will continue to be on ensuring continuous and sustainable growth for Haglöfs. The partnership with Logicenters provides us with the ideal conditions for continuing to grow as a brand,” says Fredrik Ohlsson, CEO at Haglöfs.
