Logicenters welcomes Tamro as tenant in Eskilstuna

Pharmaceutical distributor Tamro and Logicenters are entering a long-term partnership by filling an entire property in Eskilstuna. The investment is significant for both parties in order to support Tamro’s continued growth journey.

With the new agreement, Logicenters welcomes Tamro to its operations in Eskilstuna, where the entire 20,400 m² of the property is now fully leased. Tamro is a key player in Swedish healthcare and is part of the international Phoenix Group. Logicenters already has good experience in pharmaceutical logistics with adapted areas for temperate zones, security and high air quality.

Tamro is an independent distributor that ensures that pharmaceuticals reach pharmacies, hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout Sweden. The company handles approximately 5.4 million pharmaceutical orders annually with deliveries to all pharmacies and hospitals within 24 hours.

Logicenters has the opportunity to develop additional premises in the area for logistics or similar activities with, for example, rail connections or high-bay warehouses. Eskilstuna offers excellent conditions for efficient logistics with a strategic location next to the E20. The property enables deliveries to four million people within 60 minutes and offers next-day deliveries to large parts of the Nordic region.

The tenant is expected to move in early 2026.

Logicenters continues its investment in Eskilstuna and acquires a property of 71 600 m2

Logicenters is now acquiring a warehouse facility in Eskilstuna with a total area of 71 600 m². The logistics company Logent – operating on behalf of Beijer Byggmaterial – will be the tenant in the property. The facility also includes a building right for an additional 27 000 m²and is expected to be completed by the end of April 2024.

Through a forward purchase agreement, Logicenters is acquiring Beijer Byggmaterial’s central warehouse in Eskilstuna. In addition, it includes a building right of 27 000 m² on the same plot. The property will be leased by the logistics company Logent AB, which manages operations for Beijer Byggmaterial.

“Logent has been a part of the project since day one and has played a significant role in the design and layout of the property to ensure optimal conditions for the efficient operation of Beijer’s logistics. For Logent, it feels good that the property has found a long-term and stable owner through Logicenters’ acquisition of Beijer Byggmaterial’s central warehouse in Eskilstuna. This creates the conditions for us to continue offering high-quality logistics solutions to our customers. Logicenters are competent in property management, and we feel confident that they will be a good partner that creates the conditions for continued seamless collaboration for our operations”, says Daniel Rhedin, Vice President Solution Design at Logent AB.

The property is strategically located near Highway 53 and E20, with direct access to Stockholm – and by car, you can reach Eskilstuna in just 17 minutes. Buses run between Kjulamon and Eskilstuna every half-hour, making it convenient for customers and employees.

Logicenters is acquiring the completed facility from the current property owner, Charmilla Eskilstuna AB, who views the agreement positively.

Continues major investments: Teknikmagasinet moves into Logicenters’ facility in Eskilstuna

Retail company and e-retailer Teknikmagasinet has announced that they will be moving into Logicenters facility in Eskilstuna Logistics Park. The long-term leasing agreement is for a 6,000 m² area of the logistics property company’s facility. At the same time, Logicenters will continue to develop the property to accommodate additional tenants.

Teknikmagasinet, a Nordic consumer electronics and technical lifestyle products chain, has now signed a long-term lease with Logicenters. The lease agreement is for a 6,000 m² warehouse space in the logistics company’s modern property in Eskilstuna Logistics Park, located on the outskirts of Eskilstuna. The facility is equipped to function as a central warehouse for both start-ups and existing retail companies and is adapted for a combination of store and e-commerce flows.

Eskilstuna Logistics Park consists of an area of 420 hectares and is located just outside Eskilstuna with direct proximity to the motorway, railway and airport. The geographical location of the logistics park provides excellent transport opportunities to Örebro as well as to the Mälardalen region and Stockholm. All of this contributes to optimal conditions for fast-growing retail companies and e-retailers. In addition, there is an opportunity for Logicenters to increase its presence even further in the region, which would enable for both current and new tenants to expand in the future.
