Logicenters has announced its recruitment of Martin Ohly as the new General Manager in Germany. He most recently held the position as Head of Amazon Logistics Real Estate Germany. Martin will lead and develop Logicenters expansion in the German market, where there are big plans to increase presence in the coming years.
Logicenters continues to expand its operations in Germany and has now recruited Martin Ohly to be responsible for the development in the country. Martin is an international real estate expert with over 16 years of experience in investments, transactions, capital markets, leasing, and corporate asset management for commercial properties. He has previously worked for leading global real estate organizations such as JLL, Bilfinger AG (Apleona), and METRO Properties, and has functioned as EU department Head, Senior Advisor, and subject-matter expert on a broad range of real estate projects.
“I want to warmly welcome Martin to Logicenters. Martin has a solid experience in the real estate industry and in the German market. This makes him the right person to further develop and solidify Logicenters presence in Germany. Right from the start, he has shown drive, commitment, and a great understanding of our sustainable initiatives. It will be exciting to follow Martin’s journey in the company“, says Matthias Kettelhoit, CEO of Logicenters.
Martin will work with expanding Logicenters in Germany and building a portfolio of logistics assets through acquisitions, tailored development projects, and joint ventures. The work will also include building trust among business partners, promoting the Logicenters brand in the right way, and finding business opportunities.
“I am incredibly excited to become part of the team at Logicenters and drive the expansion in Germany. The company’s “Triple Zero” concept, which contributes to reducing CO2 emissions worldwide, makes me particularly enthusiastic. With humility for the trust shown by the management, I look forward to making Logicenters the top choice as a logistics landlord and business partner“, says Martin Ohly, General Manager at Logicenters in Germany.
