Nrep’s Logicenters and evolutiq GmbH have received the building permit for the development of a modern logistics facility in Meckenheim.
The multifunctional property is being developed by a joint venture between Logicenters, Nrep’s development and management platform for logistics properties, and a German family office. The property sets high standards with its targeted DGNB Gold certification, incorporating sustainable energy solutions such as a rooftop photovoltaic system and a heat pump. Project development is being managed by Cologne-based investment and asset management company evolutiq GmbH.
The property will be located at Heidestraße 18, in the well-established Meckenheim industrial area. This site offers direct access to motorways leading to the Netherlands, Belgium, and southern Germany. The building permit covers a gross floor area of approximately 23,000 m², featuring two third-party usable units. One of these units has already been leased to PVS eCommerce-Services GmbH. Construction is scheduled to begin in Q1 2025, with completion planned by Q1 2026 at the latest.
