Southbay and Logicenters, through their joint venture, have signed a 15-year lease agreement with Blåkläder for the development of the company’s new central warehouse of approximately 41,142 square metres in Lockryd, further strengthening the location’s strategic importance for Blåkläder. Construction is scheduled to begin in autumn 2026, with completion planned for 2027.
Blåkläder is one of the Nordic region’s leading manufacturers of workwear and protective clothing. With the new facility, the company is expanding its warehousing operations in a modern building designed to support continued growth. The facility will be developed in close collaboration with the tenant and tailored to Blåkläder’s specific requirements for warehouse flows, capacity and future scalability.
The project will be developed to the highest sustainability standards and is targeting BREEAM Excellent certification and Energy Class A. This includes high energy performance across the building envelope and technical installations, as well as a facility designed to support the tenant’s own sustainability targets.
