Logicenters and Southbay have jointly signed a long-term lease agreement with e-commerce company Buyers Club for approximately 12,800 square metres at the parties’ newly developed logistics property in the Hacksta industrial area in Västerås. Buyers Club took possession of the premises on 1 September 2026, coinciding with the completion of the building. This leaves approximately 12,600 square metres available for the next tenant.
Buyers Club is a membership-based e-commerce company that enables its members to purchase products at the company’s procurement prices across categories including home and household, technology, furniture, beauty and office supplies. Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Stockholm, the company has grown rapidly in recent years. The new facility in Västerås provides Buyers Club with a modern logistics platform with capacity for continued growth.
The property comprises approximately 25,400 square metres in total and has been developed in accordance with high sustainability standards. It is being certified according to BREEAM Excellent and achieves an Energy Performance Certificate rating of A. Following the lease to Buyers Club, approximately 12,600 square metres of modern warehouse, office and staff facilities remain available at the property. The premises are completed and available for immediate occupancy and can be adapted to meet the tenant’s specific requirements.
– We are pleased to welcome Buyers Club as a tenant and look forward to building a long-term relationship. The agreement confirms that we have developed the right product in the right location. At the same time, we can now offer approximately 12,600 square metres of completed space in a growing logistics hub in the Mälardalen region, available for immediate occupancy, in a market otherwise characterised by limited availability of modern logistics space, says Fredrik Nygren, Commercial Director at Logicenters.
– The new facility in Västerås provides us with modern, efficient and sustainable premises in a location that works well both for our inbound supplier flows and for fast deliveries to our members. Southbay provides a unique offering by enabling us to take possession immediately, supporting our continued growth, says Emil Henriksson, CEO of Buyers Club.
Västerås – one of Sweden’s leading industrial cities
