Logicenters is now commencing the development of another 38,000 m2 warehouse in Køge outside Copenhagen. In addition to this, Logicenters has signed a lease with Bring. Initially, the lease concerns a 14 000 m2 logistics property adapted for e-commerce.
In the autumn of 2021, Logicenters began the fourth stage of development at its 160,000 m2 site in Køge, Denmark. The tenant will be post- and logistics company Bring. Of the total area of 38,000 m2, Bring will initially lease 14,000 m2 with the aim of doubling this in a second stage. The facility will be adapted for their investment in automated e-commerce logistics to be able to offer fast and green deliveries to their customers.

Bring will incorporate its autostore solution Shelfless in the logistics property. Shelfless is an overall solution which uses technology to enable stores to focus entirely on sales while Bring manages all processes related to warehousing and delivery.

To meet these requirements, we have developed an automated fulfilment solution, a kind of plug and play solution, that only the largest e-retailers have had access to before. Located just south of Copenhagen, Køge is an outstanding strategic location for logistics companies, close to both the port and the E20, E55 and E47 European motorways. The facility will also be constructed in line with Logicenters’ clear environmental profile.
The groundbreaking ceremony has now taken place for the facility that Logicenters is developing in Køge, Denmark. The cross-dock terminal will be leased to BHS Logistics, with whom the logistics property company signed an agreement earlier this year. The terminal will have an area of 6,700 m2 and is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2022.
During 2021, it was announced that Danish transport and logistics company BHS Logistics will be the first tenant at Logicenters’ new facility in Køge, just south of Copenhagen. At the Skandinavisk Transport Center logistics park, where the BHS Logistics terminal is located, Logicenters will develop additional logistics space of 60,000 m2. The new facilities will be developed in line with Logicenters’ ambitious sustainability goals with the opportunity to install solar cells to generate renewable energy.

The facility in Køge is strategically located for logistics and transport with close proximity to the port of Køge and major motorways such as the E20, E55 and E47.

Logicenters has signed a long-term lease with its first tenant at its new facility in Køge, Denmark. The tenant is Danish transport company BHS Logistics and the lease is for a cross-docking terminal with an area of 6,900 m2. The company is scheduled to move into the property on 1 June 2022.
It has been announced that BHS Logistics, a Danish transport and logistics company, will be Logicenters’ first tenant at its new facility on Egedesvej in Køge, Denmark, just south of Copenhagen. The lease is for a cross-docking terminal with modern warehousing and office space measuring 6,900 m2 at the Skandinavisk Transport Center logistics park. In addition to the space to be leased by BHS, Logicenters is also planning to develop a further 60,000 m2 of logistics space in the area.

In 2020, Logicenters acquired land at the Skandinavisk Transport Center logistics park with the aim of strengthening its presence in Denmark. In line with Logicenters’ ambitious sustainability goals, the new property is being developed with a strong focus on sustainability. As well as the option of installing solar panels on the roof to generate renewable energy for the property, Logicenters undertook a number of studies and implemented measures to optimise the environmental impact of the property even prior to the start of construction.
“We have long had a desire to develop and consolidate our activities in the Copenhagen region, where there is also potential for us to further upgrade our pharmacy set-up in order to maintain our leading position in pharmaceutical transport. We chose Køge because it is a central hub. This is due in part to the surrounding motorway network with good conditions for emergency medical vehicles, but also because the area is a hub for all our traffic to and from Bornholm. This puts us in the best position for more efficient logistics, which ultimately means better service for our customers”, says Morten Studsgaard, CEO at BHS Logistics.

In 2020, Logicenters acquired a 160,000 m2 lot of land at Skandinavisk Transport Center, a Danish logistics park in Køge, south of Copenhagen. The logistics property company is planning to develop facilities for a total of 68,000 m² at the park. The first phase has now been initiated with the development of a 16,000 m² logistics facility, which is being built on speculation and is scheduled for completion in spring 2022. In line with Logicenters’ ambitious sustainability goals, available options will include the installation of solar panels on the roof of the facility.

Its proximity to Copenhagen and Malmö makes Køge a strategic hub for logistics and transport, especially as the E20, E55 and E47 motorways all pass through Køge. In addition, the port of Køge is only three kilometres away, giving easy access to excellent marine transport via the Baltic Sea.
With the ambition to switch to 100 percent renewable electricity in its operations before 2025, Logicenters is now ramping up its efforts by installing solar panels on six more of its facilities. This means that Logicenters will be doubling the number of solar plants compared to today. It is estimated that the solar panels will generate a total of 9 gigawatt hours of electricity annually.
Logicenters has recently signed an agreement to install solar plants at six of its facilities across the Nordic region. Logicenters currently has solar plants on seven of its properties. With the installations now being carried out, Logicenters will be doubling the number of solar plants installed on its facilities. It is estimated that the solar cells will have a total capacity of up to 10,000 kWp and will produce 9 gigawatt hours of electricity on an annual basis. This is equivalent to the energy required to supply 1,800 homes with electricity for an entire year.
For example, Logicenters and its tenant Speed Group are currently installing the Nordic region’s largest rooftop solar plant in Borås, Sweden. At this property alone, the solar cells cover a roof area of 60,000 m2 and have a capacity of 5,000 kWp.

As the leading developer and owner of modern logistics facilities in the Nordic region, Logicenters also wants to manage the transition to renewable energy within the logistics industry. Through NREP, Logicenters has become affiliated with RE100, a global coalition of companies committed to renewable energy. Consequently, Logicenters is undertaking to switch to using 100 percent renewable electricity throughout the company’s property portfolio before 2025.

Groundbreaking has now taken place in Køge, south of Copenhagen, where Logicenters is developing a 35,000 m² logistics property. The tenant who will be moving into the facility is PostNord TPL upon its completion, with which the logistics facility provider signed a lease earlier this year.
In July earlier this year, Logicenters announced that they had signed a lease with PostNord TPL in Køge, just south of Copenhagen. The agreement involved the development of a 35,000 m² logistics facility which is planned to be ready for PostNord to move into in the autumn of 2021. And now the groundbreaking ceremony for the new property has taken place.

The property will have a clear focus on sustainability and will be prepared for the installation of solar cells on the roof of the property as well as being BREEAM certified. This is in line with Logicenters’ strategy to develop sustainable facilities with lower carbon emissions and energy consumption.

Logicenters has acquired a 160,000 m2 site at the Danish logistics park, Skandinavisk Transport Center, in Køge to the south of Copenhagen. The land has been sold by Køge municipality and the acquisition has been undertaken as part of the municipality’s expansion plans for the existing logistics park. This logistics park is one of Denmark’s largest and it will continue to grow as Logicenters establishes itself in the area.

A newly built railway station near the logistics park also provides excellent options for commuting to and from Copenhagen. In addition, the port of Køge is only three kilometres away, ideally located on the Baltic Sea, in close proximity to the Baltic countries. In the future, the Fehmarn Belt Fixed Link will also connect Køge to Germany and the rest of Europe.

The Danish logistics company Godshotel is moving into one of Logicenters’ properties in Greve, Denmark. The logistics property company has already signed a lease with Godshotel for a property measuring just over 30,000 m2. The lease commences on 1 September 2020 and the company will be taking over the property from Flying Tiger, which will vacate the premises at the end of August.
Godshotel Lager & Transport has a rapidly growing presence in the warehousing, packaging and transport solutions sector in Denmark and will move into Logicenters’ property at Ventrupparken 2 in Greve. This logistics area is attractively located on Zealand, 25 km from the centre of Copenhagen. The property in question has been constructed in two stages with a total area of 30,142 m2. The high-quality facility is an ideal base for a modern logistics company.
