Logicenters strengthens its presence in the Polish logistics market through Nrep/Logicenters’ majority stake acquisition in 7R. The €200m investment, expanding to a total portfolio in excess of 4.2 million m2, including pipeline, complements Logicenters’ Northern European logistics strategy.
Nrep/Logicenters has acquired an 80 percent stake of one of the largest logistics developers in Poland, 7R. Nrep/Logicenters is investing approximately €200m into the company, and thereby strengthening Logicenters’ presence in Poland. 7R’s portfolio of prime locations and versatile properties perfectly aligns with the Logicenters vision. This strategic acquisition enables Logicenters to expand its product offering to the part of its Nordic client base that also operates in Poland.
“This acquisition marks an important milestone for Logicenters’ growth. Moreover, Logicenters is now in a top 3 market position in Poland, through 7R, to provide a truly diverse product mix to its existing and new clients and takes our total logistics portfolio to an impressive number of square meters”, says Matthias Kettelhoit CEO at Logicenters.
Nrep/Logicenters, with its local team in Poland, will apply its extensive experience to further develop 7R with the management to a leading institutional quality platform and leverage its expertise to strengthen 7R’s capability to source, develop and hold prime logistics facilities in Poland, with a focus on bringing down the portfolio’s operational CO2-emissions.
“This is a landmark transaction, both for Logicenters and for the Polish real estate market. Together with the experienced 7R team, we will be creating a developer game changer in Poland, offering sustainable industrial real estate products with the same high quality that we’re reputed for in The Nordics”, says Søren Rodian Olsen, Managing Director at Logicenters Poland.
