Logicenters recently completed its modern cross-dock facility in Greve, just outside Copenhagen. It will now work together with tenant Bring in Denmark to install a 1,950 m² solar cell plant on the roof of the facility. It is estimated that the solar cells will generate around 300,000 KWh of power annually.
In early 2019, groundbreaking took place for Logicenters’ modern cross-dock facility at Ventrupparken 4, Greve, outside Copenhagen, and the almost 14,000 m² facility has recently been completed. As a further step in strengthening the property’s environmental profile, Logicenters is now working with the tenant Bring in Denmark to install solar cells on the roof. In total, the solar cells will cover a roof area of 1,950 m² and it is estimated that they will generate around 300,000 KWh of power annually.

Last year, Logicenters joined RE100 through NREP. RE100 is a global coalition committed to 100 % renewable energy. During the same period, energy audits were also conducted at several of Logicenters properties, with the results showing great potential for savings. By streamlining energy consumption at the properties, energy costs could be reduced by up to one third.
“Bring has ambitious environmental goals, working to be fossil-free in all our operations by 2025. Working with Logicenters to install Bring’s largest solar cell plant to date was therefore a natural progression for us. The facility will enable us to use direct solar power for our transport as we are also investing in electric vehicles for our distribution network,” says Jonas Olsson, facility manager at Bring in Denmark.
The solar cells on the building’s roof will have an electrical capacity of 354 KWp. The installation is being carried out by Better Energy and is scheduled for completion by the end of Q3 2020. Earlier this year, construction also began on the Nordic region’s largest rooftop solar cell plant at one of Logicenters’ logistics facilities just outside of Gothenburg, Sweden.
I foråret tog Logicenters første spadestik til den 14.872 m2 store moderne cross-dock terminal i Greve udenfor København. Samtidigt blev det offentliggjort at Bring Danmark ville leje lidt mere end 70 procent af ejendommen. Grundet øget aktivitet vil Bring nu leje hele ejendommen.
I februar 2019 underskrev Logicenters og Bring Danmark en aftale vedrørende leje af 11.160 m2 i cross-dock terminalen i Greve, og første spadestik til byggeriet blev taget måneden efter. Det står nu klart at Bring vil leje hele ejendommens 14.872 m2, og dermed øge sit logistikareal i ejendommen med 30 procent.

Den moderne cross-dock ejendom har en stærk miljømæssig profil og der vil blive installeret solceller på bygningens tag. Bygningen får en frihøjde på ca. 12 meter, og der vil derfor være mulighed for sortering af pakker i to etager. De ansattes sikkerhed er også prioriteret med etablering af en gangbro fra parkeringsområdet og til kontoret. Ejendommen er under opførelse og er planlagt færdig april 2020.

Since May 2018, Logicenters has been developing a new logistics facility just outside Copenhagen. At the time development began, a lease was also signed with Havi Logistics, which have moved into 4,500 m2 leaving 8,900 m2 available for another tenant.
Logicenters’ new logistics facility at Vejleåvej 11 in the industrial district of Winthersminde outside Copenhagen has now been completed. A lease was signed with Havi Logistics back in May 2018 when the development was beginning. The lease is for a logistics area of 4,500 m2 and comprises freezer, refrigerated and traditional storage. Havi Logistics has moved into the property, which has a total area of 13,400 m2. This means that there is still 8,900 m2 of modern high ceiling logistics space available for a new tenant.
“We have cooperated closely with Havi Logistics throughout the development process to ensure that its needs have beenfully met. At the same time, we have succeeded in constructing a generic facility complying with modern specifications so that the facility can also be adapted for tenants wishing to move into the remaining 8,900 m2. Yesterday marked the start of the construction of Logicenters’ new property in Greve, Denmark. The cross-docking facility is scheduled for tenant hand-over in 2020.

The facility will be particularly visible as it’s positioned adjacent to the busy E20 motorway leading in to Copenhagen and further in to Sweden.

The facility is also being built with the long-term aim to be able to adapt to future logistics needs, for example by using it as a warehouse.

FREJA Transport & Logistics A/S has operated from the facility in Høje-Taastrup since 2004. A new lease has now been signed between Logicenters and FREJA to extend this cooperation for a further 15 years. Additionally, the property is currently awaiting new upgrades.
The lease has now been extended between property owner Logicenters and tenant FREJA. Since 2004, the transport and logistics company has operated from the property in Høje-Taastrup in Denmark. The new agreement means that FREJA will stay until 2033, an extension of 15 years. In addition, a part of the 15,929 m2 facility will be upgraded to handle pharmaceutical products, including fitted with a new heating and cooling system.
The facility is located at Litauen Allé 6 in Høje-Taastrups TransportCenter, 15 km from Copenhagen. FREJA Transport & Logistics A/S supplies and stores goods, such as pharmaceuticals, to customers who place high demands on transport as well as warehouse logistics. Furthermore, the facility it is one of FREJA’s international cross dock locations in Denmark.
