Earlier this year, Logicenters signed a lease with e-retailer and Borås company Care of Carl. The web-based menswear store is now moving into Logicenters’ facility in Viared, just outside Borås. Care of Carl has leased an area measuring approximately 12,000 m2, equivalent to half of the property’s floor space. Consequently, the remaining area is available for additional tenants.
E-commerce is currently breaking all records, with e-commerce companies experiencing almost explosive developments during 2020. The keys to Logicenters’ property in Viared, just outside Borås, have been handed over to web-based menswear store and Borås company Care of Carl, which is now moving into the property. The e-retailer’s new property has been equipped with all the technical specifications required for modern logistics operations. The facility’s technical solutions have also been adapted to suit the e-retailer’s operations.

Geographically speaking, Viared has an ideal location for logistics. Its proximity to Landvetter Airport and the major cities of Gothenburg and Jönköping makes it very attractive to a range of different sectors – not least fast-growing e-retailers. The area is also ranked as Sweden’s main area for logistics. With Care of Carl moving into half of the property, this means that the other half – approximately 12,000 m2 – is available for additional tenants, with the opportunity for rapid occupancy.

Logicenters has acquired a 160,000 m2 site at the Danish logistics park, Skandinavisk Transport Center, in Køge to the south of Copenhagen. The land has been sold by Køge municipality and the acquisition has been undertaken as part of the municipality’s expansion plans for the existing logistics park. This logistics park is one of Denmark’s largest and it will continue to grow as Logicenters establishes itself in the area.
Logicenters develops and owns modern logistics facilities in the Nordic region. The logistics company is now looking to grow further in the Öresund region through the acquisition of a site in Køge, Denmark. The land has been sold by Køge municipality, with the site forming part of the municipality’s long-term expansion plans for the Skandinavisk Transport Center logistics park. The area is approximately 160,000 m2 in size, with Logicenters’ buildings scheduled to account for around 70,000 m2 of this.

The proximity to Copenhagen and Malmö makes the Skandinavisk Transport Center a strategic location for logistics and transport, especially as the E20, E55 and E47 motorways all pass through Køge. A newly built railway station near the logistics park also provides excellent options for commuting to and from Copenhagen. In addition, the port of Køge is only three kilometres away, ideally located on the Baltic Sea, in close proximity to the Baltic countries. In the future, the Fehmarn Belt Fixed Link will also connect Køge to Germany and the rest of Europe.

The Danish logistics company Godshotel is moving into one of Logicenters’ properties in Greve, Denmark. The logistics property company has already signed a lease with Godshotel for a property measuring just over 30,000 m2. The lease commences on 1 September 2020 and the company will be taking over the property from Flying Tiger, which will vacate the premises at the end of August.
Godshotel Lager & Transport has a rapidly growing presence in the warehousing, packaging and transport solutions sector in Denmark and will move into Logicenters’ property at Ventrupparken 2 in Greve. This logistics area is attractively located on Zealand, 25 km from the centre of Copenhagen. The property in question has been constructed in two stages with a total area of 30,142 m2. The high-quality facility is an ideal base for a modern logistics company.

Logicenters develops and manages modern logistics facilities throughout the Nordic region and owns two more properties in Greve, Denmark. One property is an ongoing project a stone’s throw away at Ventrupparken 4. The other property is located at Greve Main 30. The logistics property company is well established in Zealand with a number of properties in Køge, Ishøj and Vallensbæk.
After signing a contract with one of the world’s leading logistics companies, Logicenters is now investing further in Eskilstuna Logistics Park. The lease with the logistics giant is initially for an area of 15,000 m2 and Logicenters is continuing its expansion with another 15,000 m2 in the area. Logicenters’ proactivity has been of key to its success in Eskilstuna. With its current expansion, Logicenters will own a total of 51,000 m2 of warehouse space in this area.
The new tenant is one of the world’s largest logistics providers with operations in more than 100 countries. It specialises in sea and air freight, contract logistics and land transport.
The global logistics company will be moving into the Logicenters property in Eskilstuna Logistics Park, located just outside Eskilstuna. Built on speculation, the property has modern specifications with a floor area of 15,000 m2 which is now being further developed in order to adapt it to the new tenant’s operations. In addition, Logicenters is expanding with another 15,000 m2 in the area – again on speculation.

Eskilstuna Logistics Park has an area of 420 hectares and is strategically located just outside Eskilstuna with direct proximity to the motorway, railway and airport. The geographical location of the logistics park provides excellent transport opportunities to Örebro as well as to the Mälaren region and Stockholm. In addition to the developed area of 36,000 m2, Logicenters is now planning to build on a further 15,000 m2, giving it a total warehouse space of 51,000 m2. There is also an option for further expansion for the logistics property company in the area of just over 40,000 m2.This will facilitate expansion for both current and new tenants in the future.

Logicenters has now signed a lease with PostNord Oy in Finland. The lease includes the development of a 4600 m² parcel sorting facility in Kurikantie, Pirkkala. The facility is scheduled to be ready for occupation in early 2021 and will also include expansion options of 2000 m². The real estate developer is also planning to develop an additional 7000 m² warehouse onsite.
Logicenters is continuing to develop and expand its presence at strategic logistics hubs in the Nordic region. It has now signed a new lease with PostNord Oy in Pirkkala, Finland. In accordance with the lease, Logicenters will develop a 4600 m² parcel sorting facility in Kurikantie which is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2021. The facility will also be prepared for potential development on a 2000 m² extension. The logistics property company will also develop a 7000 m² detached warehouse onsite.

Logicenters is now scaling up and preparing for further expansion at the Brunna Logistics Park. By acquiring 52,000 m2 of land, the logistics property company is strengthening its presence at the logistics park. The land acquisition will enable speculative construction of a new facility to begin in the latter part of 2020. The logistics facility is being built on speculation but will be able to accommodate and adapt to a number of tenants.
Logicenters is continuing to establish and consolidate its presence at strategic logistics hubs. This time it is through the acquisition of land in Brunna, north of Stockholm. The acquisition totals 52,000 m² in Brunna Logistics Park. Its proximity to Stockholm and to Arlanda Airport makes the area an excellent geographical hub for logistics. In addition, the new site is optimally located as it offers large and visible signage opportunities along the busy E18 motorway for the facility to be built on this land.

As a result of this land acquisition, Logicenters is expanding its presence at the Brunna Logistics Park and now owns a total area of 148,115 m². The logistics property company has had a presence in the well-established logistics park since 2017. Once this facility is completed, Logicenters will have around 100,715 m² of leasable space. Its properties in the area already house companies such as Zalando, Systembolaget, Bythjul.com and Autoglas.
It is not yet clear who the tenants will be in the new facility.

Of the almost 24,000 m² property, Care of Carl is leasing around 12,000 m², with half of the property’s floor area remaining available to other tenants.

The property is located in a very visible site along the R40 main road. Its proximity to both Gothenburg and Jönköping means that the area is ranked as Sweden’s primary logistics area. The vicinity to Landvetter Airport also makes it very attractive to logistics companies.

Logicenters is continuing to strengthen its portfolio in the Finnish market. In Kerava, just outside Helsinki, Logicenters is currently developing a logistics facility with a total area of 18,300 m2. A ten-year lease has been signed with tenant Dachser to lease an area of around 4600 m2. The property is scheduled for completion in 2020.
A leading developer, owner and manager of logistics facilities in the Nordic region, Logicenters is currently developing a property in Kerava, Finland. The 18,300 m2 property is located in the Kerca logistics zone, just outside Helsinki, and is scheduled for completion in the 3rd quarter of 2020. Construction company Lehto Tilat Oy is responsible for construction of the property. A ten-year lease has been signed with logistics company Dachser regarding a 4600 m2 area comprising a 4000 m2 cross-docking area and 600 m2 of offices.
Logicenters’ new facility is located in a strategically important area in the Helsinki region, in close proximity to the international airport and the E75 motorway. Its proximity to the Savio railway station also provides excellent options for commuting to Helsinki. In line with Logicenters’ ambition to improve energy efficiency at its properties, this logistics facility will be equipped with solar cells on the roof and will utilise geothermal heat.

The new logistics facility has around 13,000 m2 still available for leasing by future tenants wishing to establish themselves in one of the best logistics zones in the Helsinki Metropolitan area. The facility has already raised interest among several industry organizations.
Logicenters and Axfood’s purchasing and logistics company Dagab have now signed a contract for the development and leasing of a logistics facility of just over 100,000 m2 in Bålsta. Dagab will become a long-term tenant at the facility, which will be one of the largest in Europe. The property will be 30 metres tall, have environmental certification and comply with modern specifications such as a high degree of automation and several temperature zones.
In March 2019, Logicenters signed a memorandum of understanding with Dagab, Axfood’s purchasing and logistics company, for the development and leasing of a logistics facility in Bålsta. The parties have now signed an agreement which goes beyond development to represent Logicenters’ largest lease in Sweden.

The logistics facility, with a capacity of around 100,000 m2, is one of Europe’s largest and most modern food distribution centres for both retail and e-commerce. The property will have a unique height of 30 metres and a high degree of automation which will ensure that the chilled, refrigerated and temperate zones are maintained. In line with Logicenters’ strategy regarding sustainability and energy efficiency, the facility will have a high level of environmental certification and there is also a plan to incorporate solar cells on the roof.
The property is strategically located at Håbo Lundby 2:8 outside Bålsta, northwest of Stockholm. The proximity to the E18 and Stockholm makes this an attractive location. In addition, railway sidings run all the way into the site, which will facilitate the future transport infrastructure. The logistics facility will enter into operation in 2023 and will also mean many job opportunities.

Logicenters has signed a new agreement with Skanska concerning the development and acquisition of a new property in Arlandastad. A modern logistics facility of 25,000 m2 is to be constructed with completion scheduled for the first quarter of 2020. The tenant Veddestagruppen will move in with all of the group’s four operations.
An agreement has been made between Logicenters and Skanska concerning a 25,000 m2 logistics facility in Arlandastad. The development is being undertaken by Skanska, and the property has been acquired by Logicenters. The property is scheduled for completion during the first quarter of 2020. The facility will have modern specifications and will be adapted to accommodate the needs of the tenant Veddestagruppen.
Arlandastad’s proximity to the international airport in Stockholm as well as both the E4 and E18 highways make the location an important logistics and transport hub. Logicenters has previously invested in another facility in the same area, which is now under development.
“We are happy to invest in another facility here, because Arlandastad is one of Sweden’s best logistics locations. It enables us to offer Veddestagruppen an optimal location for the facility as well as state-of-the-art specifications,” says Matthias Kettelhoit, Commercial Head at Logicenters.

Can increase capacity by 50 percent
Veddestagruppen currently comprises the subsidiaries Veddesta Distribution, Veddesta Transport, Multi Logistik and Bemanningsstyrkan. The new facility will accommodate all operations, enabling the group to increase its warehousing capacity by up to 50 percent.
